RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY

CHILI HUB SPORTS offers 7 days change of mind returns or exchange. All refunds and returns are made at CHILI HUB SPORTS discretion. Please include the details of the product and the specify the reason for return or exchange. The amount will be refunded in the form of store credit, which can be availed for another product. All the products that are being returned must be in new, unused condition and in exact packing. All the free add-ons and the proof of purchase or receipt must also be returned. We will notify the Return address to the buyer once request is processed. Customer will bear the responsibility of safe packaging, transportation with attached tracking and paying return postage of the product. CHILI HUB SPORTS will not be liable for any damage or loss that may occur during the process.

The shipment charges, if applicable, will not be refunded. Buyer will be liable to pay the shipment charges and return postage of the exchanged product(s).

Any used item or item that is not in the original packaging will not be eligible for return or refund.

The customer will be charged the applicable Credit/ Debit Card Transaction Fees in the event of cancellation of order due to change of mind, wrong selection of product or external circumstances beyond our control.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

All items sold through CHILI HUB SPORTS are covered by standard CHILI HUB SPORTS warranty, based on manufacturer’s guidelines.

Warranty period commences from the date of purchase.

Cricket bats come with 6 months handle repair warranty and 6 months exchange warranty if it breaks from the middle. All warranty decisions are at the discretion of CHILI HUB SPORTS. The warranty claims will be treated on individual basis in accordance to the terms & conditions.

WARRANTY TERMS

  1. Warranty is available on Cricket Bats. No warranty available for other items. 
  2. Cricket Bat does not have a specific span of life. It is made of wood from willow tree, and is prone to deterioration due to hits from ball, friction from the ground, damage from natural elements like moisture and heat. Small amounts of cracks and deterioration are normal, and do not affect bat performance. CHILI HUB SPORTS always recommends to apply extra tec, edge tape and toe guard as these play an important role in increasing the life of your bat. CHILI HUB SPORTS recommends the buyers to not play with your bat against a bowling machine as continuous hits cause early damage to the bat. You may consider using a cheaper quality bat for practicing against the bowling machine. Below given are the warranty terms and conditions,
  3. Warranty claims will be availed only by either repair of the product, or refunds only by store credits.
  4. The English willow cricket bats sold by us have up to 6 months (from the date of purchase) handle-repair warranty for the fault that is not considered to be that of the customer. It is on the manufacturer’s discretion to repair.
  5. We offer 6 months exchange warranty for cricket bat if it breaks from the middle and is a manufacturing fault. If a bat is man-handled, warranty claim will not be applicable.
  6. CHILI HUB SPORTS will ask the buyer to send a number of pictures, of the faulty product, taken from various angles to help us assess the issue. 
  7. CHILI HUB SPORTS will inspect the item and customer will be informed of the outcome that whether or not warranty repair can be provided. They may also refuse the claim depending upon the outcome if it is deemed customer’s fault.
  8. The processing time for warranty claims is 4 weeks.
  9. The shipping charges applicable (to and from) will be customer’s responsibility, irrespective of the fault.
  10. Warranty claims would not be considered in the events of:
    • Absence of manufacturer’s labels and stickers;
    • Yorker damage on toe, edge or shoulder of the bat;
    • If the damage is due to extended or improper use, or because of the bowling machine;
    • If the bat is used against non-leather or composite balls;
    • If the damage is due to yorker;
    • If the damage is due to moisture and/ or heat;
    • If the damage is due to inadequate bat preparation;
    • If the damage is due to over and/ or under oiling;
    • If the damage is due to attempted repairs by third party;
    • If the damage is due to misuse, accident and/or hitting on the ground or pitch;
    • If the damage is caused due to hard and cheap balls.

CHILI HUB SPORTS reserves the right to make changes to Warranty Claims, Returns and Return policies any time without prior notification.
